Good day!
January 11, 2007
For those of you who remember, I started a little website called Evan Online during my freshman year of college. It was essentially a humor blog/magazine written by me, with guest articles and features by Adam, Pat, and Reed. All of us are terrible writers, but we’re funny and handsome young men. Except Pat, he’s atrocious. And Adam. Reed too.
Unfortunately, Evan Online folded a few short years later, despite many half-assed attempts to resurrect it. In spite of this, a new medium emerged that promised new avenues of self-expression. That thing was Myspace.
Please stop laughing. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
I was disappointed when I discovered Myspace was ultimately just a messier-looking Facebook with more porn-spammers, cam whores, and creeps. I pressed on, however, and started writing in the blog section. I assume it was an astounding success.
So why move my blogging here? Because I am intolerably vain and I would like more people to read my attempts at “humor” and “insight.” And Myspace looks like shit.
So stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen. More is on the way.
